How easy is it to switch?
Very. Tickd is a one-stop app and portal that’s available 24/7. So you can forget 'business hours', brokers and commission-heavy comparison sites. Our app is a far easier and more efficient way to switch and then continue to manage every aspect of your energy account – at a time and in a way that works for you. No fuss, no stress – you can get everything sorted online, in a matter of seconds, with the support of an expert energy technology team who provide a refreshingly simple service.
Do I need to tell my current supplier I'm switching?
Yes, you do need to make sure you’ve terminated your existing contract if you want to opt for an easier life and get your business energy Tickd. Each energy supplier will have slightly different termination rules, so it’s worth getting in touch with them (one final phone call!) if you’re unsure. But the good news is that you can still switch using Tickd today – as long as you terminate your contract within your current energy supplier’s required termination window (this is usually between 28 days and 3 months before the contract ends).
How does Tickd make its money?
We’re ethical and transparent in the way we run our business – so we’re very clear about the way we work. For each successful switch that Tickd makes, we get paid by the partner energy supplier. How much? Click on the link to see exactly how much we make. We collect the same amount from each energy supplier which means there is no bias in our business model. We make life easier for energy suppliers as well which means they’re often happy to give us even more competitive rates.
